moving day

In the morning, I will be beginning the long 24 hour haul across the pond. I still have a few things to pack up but I have been doing quite well at keeping my bags under that beautiful 50 pound weight limit. These past few months here in Boise have been amazing! Everyone that I run into on the road or even at the grocery store has been super supportive of my move this year. I cannot think of a better community to be a part of. I just want to thank everyone for your support and good wishes. I would have not made it this far without it and I will do my best to pay back your support with lots of success. Heres to a great year!

packing

The countdown to the move is 5 days now and I am just beginning the packing process. For 8 months of living, I am going to have 50 lbs to play with on luggage. Trying to figure out the best way to take the most important stuff and in the process I have found clothes that I have not worn in years. Finding that moving is the best way to get rid of junk and keep clutter to a minimum. This last week in Boise is filled with lots of excitement and nervous packing, but training is keeping me focused on the task at hand and that is to be as fast as I can be this year.

You asked for it

Here I am 1 week to go until I leave Boise and begin my adventure in France. A number of people have asked if I'm going to write a blog and after many challenges to my technical abilities and much help from my dad, here it is. I'll be posting here frequently I hope depending on le WiFi access.
